Personality:

Danny is a friendly and kind person by nature. He would have to be to put up with two of the single most pretentious people at Beacon Hills High school as well as being lab partners with a guy with ADHD like Stiles. He is a team player and is shown to be very caring, being the first to stand up ready to write a message and sign a card for Issac who was in the hospital.

His relationship with Jackson is an interesting point to look at. Jackson, while being the biggest prick, never seems to put Danny down for anything, including being gay. It isn't often that Jackson seems to trust anyone yet when he wants someone to take a closer look at the video he took on the full moon he goes straight to Danny for help, knowing that he is great with computers. Even the way Danny seems to make jokes to lighten a mood shows how he cares about is friends. Saying things like "Yes we know you're perfect but are you okay?" to seemingly try to break the tension is just something that Danny does.

In regards to his tech savvy nature we seem to have at the very least two examples of this. The first is in season one it's self. When Stiles wants to find out who Scott got a text from if not from Allison he calls none other than his lab partner Danny. Of course it's under the pretense of working on their lab. When Danny gets there Stiles uses everything he can to get Danny to hack into the number and find out where the text was sent from. It is at this time we find out how Stiles knew Danny could hack. Danny has a criminal record from when he was thirteen years old. After repeating multiple times that the charges were in fact dropped he tries to convince Stiles that they were going to work on their lab and drop the subject of his more...illicit affairs. The second, as mentioned above, is when Jackson asks him to look over a video to see if there is anything wrong with it. Not only does he actually do it, even after hearing that it is a video of his best friend alone in bed, but he actually does in fact find an edit spot in the video.

Danny tends to like to think of the brighter side of things, even when talking about a birth defect he has. Danny was born with misshapen cartilage and when he was 14 he had a major surgery done to put metal bars in to keep his chest from collapsing and crushing his heart and lungs. When asked by Ethan what he would do if there was a way to make them disappear, Danny responds with "I don't really want them to, they make me feel like a survivor."

Along with his technological knowledge Danny is shown to be very studious. Demanding that they put aside the topic of his criminal back ground in favor to work on their lab, bringing books with him to a lacrosse meet, we even get to see a full research project that he turns into Mr. Harris on Telluric currents. At first this seems to also be the only even semi supernatural knowledge that Danny may have. Even then it's not as mystical as it can be made out to be. Mr. Harris even writes on Danny's paper, "I strongly advise you to choose another subject. The ideas here while innovative and thoughtful, border on the pseudoscience. Not suitable for this class." It seems fitting to combine these two ideas of Danny into one section, his intelligence as well as a more almost paranormal side. It's interesting to see that even the most normal seeming human side character still gets to delve a little in the supernatural aspect of the show.

With how open Danny is about his sexuality it is obvious to tell that he is no where near ashamed of who he is, no matter who he is around. Even their Lacrosse coach knows about his choice in partners and doesn't even seem to bat an eye at it. It is actually very odd at just how accepting everyone is. Through out the show it seems to be a running joke about whether he is attracted to a certain other character or no, or rather if he finds them attractive. He is asked this at least once by Stiles and he can't seem to even give Stiles an answer, granted he was taken back by the questions seeing as it was proceeded by a long line of many other unrelated topics.

Along with his sexuality comes his seemingly self-harmful taste in men. While it is more head-canon than actual canon about his previous boyfriends, in the later seasons we see this on three occasions. First is in season one, he is at the very least attracted to Derek, or "Miguel", when Stiles uses him to torment poor Danny until he finally does what Stiles wants. The second example is with his fairly obvious if unspoken attraction to Matt who we later find out is not as nice as he appears. In fact, Matt is the worst possible person who Danny could have interest in. Finally in season three we find Danny with yet another new boyfriend, only this time we are terrified of the outcome. Danny begins dating one of the twins who we know from episode one to be a moment of the dreaded Alpha Pack. With this hanging over the viewer's head we are forced to watch Danny worrying over Ethan every time the alpha and Issac get into fights. As the season progresses however we seem to find that Ethan actually cares for Danny, going so far as to say that he hopes Danny is a survivor. Even tentatively offering the bite even if Danny doesn't know it. After looking this over it is surmised that maybe Danny doesn't so much have a taste for jerks as he does the bad boy image, with Matt simply being the exception to prove the rule.

Being goalie of the Lacrosse team it makes Danny seem like he actually cares about how he is physically as well as how dedicated he is. In fact he is shown as being one of the most fit out of the team and even serves as a spotter for Jackson while the other is lifting weights that are much too heavy for Jackson to do more than a couple lifts of. During a scene in season three he is actually shown nearly keeping pace while running with Kira, who we know at the time to be anything but human. This only adds to the idea that Danny is fit and actually seems to enjoy friendly competition. He is never seen missing a practice or a game which leads some to believe that he is in fact responsible to some extent at the very least.

Of course that being said, Danny is known to like to have a little fun. In the second season he is shown sneaking into a twenty-one and over gay club with a fake id. We learn that he in fact has said fake id later when he is talking to Scott and complaining on how the police took it. Another example of his party spirit is around Halloween. The twins over hear him on the phone having a very heated conversation that leaves him looking dejected. When asked why by Ethan it is revealed that because of the blackouts a party he was hoping for was cancelled.

Something we learn at the very end of the season is that, Danny is very good at keeping secrets. He would have to be after all, he has kept a secret for the past 3 seasons, one year in the series' time-line. That secret being that he in fact knew about the werewolves all along. When Danny is basically breaking up with Ethan and says that he doesn't think he can do it, Ethan asks if he means he can't date Ethan. In response to this Danny simply says "Date a werewolf." And that is the very first sign the fans ever got of Danny knowing about the werewolves. Now how does this effect his knowledge of the others? Ethan is surprised and asks if Danny knew to which he simply gets a laugh followed by "Dude, it's Beacon Hills.", leading us to believe that yes, Danny did in fact know the entire time, and in fact knows that Beacon Hills seems to be the place to be for werewolves.

All in all Danny is a friendly, intelligent, open person who seems not to care who you are as long as you aren't a total jerk, and even if you are he seems to like to give people the benefit of the doubt. While he loves to learn he is very much still a teenager who loves to live life and have fun.



Items on your character at canon point:
His backpack, possibly containing school supplies and his tablet. Also his phone, other than that not much else. Maybe some gum?

Abilities, Strengths and Weaknesses:  Unlike many others from his cannon Danny is the most normal of normal humans we have yet to meet. The little we do know about him however let's us see a little more about him. Danny is very tech savvy and apparently has been since before he was 13. We find this out because he was actually arrested for hacking when he was thirteen years old.

As a weakness, aside from his own mortality, Danny in fact has metal bars keeping his chest from collapsing due to a birth defect.

I don't know maybe some tips to stay alive in this place? I rather know what to expect than get eaten alive by something I could have easily avoided.

Also, anyone from Beacon Hills want to meet up? I really don't like the idea of being alone here.
